Endovab was founded in 2009 and has it´s head quarter and a research laboratory in Uppsala, Sweden. The company’s founder and innovation lead MD, Ph.D. Krister Liungman, former Head of Vascular Surgery at Uppsala University Hospital, has more than 25 years of experience in treating vascular disease. With experienced backers and a driven team, Endovab is committed to its objective of improving treatment within the field of endovascular surgery.

Krister Liungman

MD, Ph.D Head of Vascular Surgery at Uppsala University Hospital until October of 2015. Senior lecturer in surgery and vascular surgery with over 3000 hours of teaching experience over 30 years. More than 25 years of experience from vascular and endovascular surgery including:

Extensive experience of complicated thoracoabdominal aortic surgery with more than 100 open ECC procedures under cardiac arrest.
Pioneered in hybrid treatment of aortic aneurysms with personal experience of 34 procedures.

Presently active in the development of complete endovascular solutions for thoracoabdominal and arch aneurysm treatment. The inventor of the LGF and the pre-cannulated method for f-EVAR.
