THE LIUNGMAN GUIDEWIRE FIXATOR

The Liungman guidewire fixator is the first ever guidewire that can be distally fixated in an
artery. A secure guidewire position enables the surgeon to perform other procedures in
parallel. It also makes it possible to reposition the proximal end of a guidewire while the
distal end remains in place. This has a fundamental impact on the possible uses of
a guidewire and enables a range of new guidewire techniques.
